ISDs mission is to improve care through sharing knowledge, increasing professionalism, and bringing together the diverse, global dermatology community.
Program accomplishments
- Meetings and Conventions - The ISD supports various Regional Meetings of Dermatology, both World and Continental Congresses and every 4 years sponsors an International Congress of Dermatology. These meetings and congresses provide an opportunity to engage with leading experts, exchange knowledge on groundbreaking research, and explore the latest advancements in dermatology. The programs cover a wide array of topics, ensuring a comprehensive and enriching experience on developing topics of dermatology throughout the world. Duran Scholarships - The ISD provides Global Education Awards for ISD sponsored meetings including the International Congresses of Dermatology and the Continental Congresses. To honor the memory of Maria M. Duran, MD, former Secretary-General and Executive Vice-President of the International Society of Dermatology, the Maria M.
