Mission
To promote the educational aspects of cooperation and sportsmanship within interscholastic athletics among Arizona schools. To foster camaraderie, understanding of admin., ethics, exchange of ideas, and professional development for Arizona athletic directors. To assist and cooperate with the AIA, and promote the mission of the NIAAA and NFHS.
Program accomplishments
- AIAAA provided many opportunities to support its members and to promote professionalism, education, information, and networking among the athletic director and scholastic athletic community in Arizona. Funds are used for the annual conference, delegate meetings, professional manuals and materials, and honorary awards.Expenses $187,737
- Student athlete scholarships are awarded to one male and one female high school student each year based upon the distinguished scholastic, leadership and sportsmanship attributes of that individual and the importance of high school athletics in each of their lives.Expenses $1,000
- a grant donation was made to an organization based upon need, a current worthy cause, and a vote of the Board of Directors. This is also done to promote benevolent giving among AIAAA members. This years donee was St. Judes Childrens Hospital.Expenses $1,500
