  • The Trust Fund Board for TFBCPL began its implementation of the 2025-2028 Strategic Plan. A. Strengthening Collaboration - Meetings with LAB, FoL, and Library staff were accomplished to communicate the TFBCPL mission, identify boundaries, and identify possible collaborative actions. B. Community Awareness - the most important activity in 2025 was the TFBCPL website launch. It provides information on the TFBCPL mission, history, successful funding initiatives, ways to give and newsletter registration. C. Advocacy - Stabalization of county government post Helene and the reorganization of partners meant that limited actions were planned for 2025, but will be emphasized in 2026.
  • D. Internal Infrastructure - Board development, and elections to fill vacant positions resulted in a fully seated Board by the end of 2025. This was crucial for positioning to address future fund development. E. Financial Stability - The Board concentrated on the underpinnings of its operations in order to address financial growth in 2026-2028. The Trust Fund received its first online donation in 2025 of $1,000. Demonstrated successful awards will assist the Board to tell the story in future fundraising efforts.
