Mission
CORPORATION IS ORGANIZED TO PROVIDE A FORUM FOR CONSULTATION AND COLLABORATION ON MATTERS OF INTEREST TO STAKEHOLDERS IN THE CASH PAYMENTS CYCLE. THE CORPORATION SHALL SERVE AS A FORUM FOR PARTIES SUCH AS CENTRAL BANKS, ISSUING AUTHORITIES, HIGH SECURITY PRINTERS, CURRENCY INDUSTRY SUPPLIERS, AND FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS TO MONITOR AND ANALYZE DEVELOPMENTS IN DOMESTIC AND CROSS-BORDER CASH AND OTHER PAYMENT SYSTEMS.
Program accomplishments
- THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF CURRENCY AFFAIRS (IACA), FORMED IN 2004, IS A NON-PROFIT INDEPENDENT MEMBER ORGANIZATION TO PROMOTE AND ENCOURAGE EXCELLENCE IN THE CASH CYCLE AND PROVIDE A PLATFORM FOR KNOWLEDGE SHARING AND COLLABORATION ON MATTERS OF STRATEGIC IMPORTANCE.
- IN 2025, IACA HOSTED A SERIES OF WEBINARS, VIRTUAL ROUND TABLE DISCUSSIONS, AND MEMBER DICUSSION MEETINGS IN CONJUNCTION WITH 2 MAJOR INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCES ON OUR FOCUS TOPICS: FUTURE OF THE KEY CASH STAKEHOLDERS LOOKING AT THE RISKS AND CHALLENGES THEY FACE IN SUPPORTING THE CASH CYCLE AS WE ALSO EXPLORE THE FUTURE BUSINESS MODEL OF CASH. IACA HAS ALSO HOSTED THE CURRENCY HALL OF FAME INDUCTION CEREMONY-INDUCTING 2 INDIVIDUALS AND HELD THE 2025 EXCELLENCE IN CURRENCY AWARDS ADKNOWLEDGING OUR FINALIST AND WINNERS IN THE AWARDS CEREMONY.
