Mission

The Georgia Works mission is to take chronically homeless men, comprehensively change their habits and help them with their problems so they can become working, productive, self-sufficient citizens. Through two very important methods -- intensive case management and emphasizing the importance of work -- people end their homelessness and achieve permanent self-sufficiency. The program is a 6 to 12 month multi-phased process offering comprehensive services to help trainees overcome barriers to employment and achieve independent lifestyles.
