Program accomplishments

  • Designed and implemented a new full day ZOOM program, Polarity Wisdom, to imagine ways of responding to the polarities of our time rooted in a contemplative heart. Developed and participated in six ZOOM calls for those who participated in the earlier programs to continue to reflect on how what they had learned affects their everyday life. Designed and processed a variety of colloquia which included two five day, and six one day, colloquia in person. Prepared and offered two different short rituals for Advent and Lent on ZOOM for two different national organizations. Continued a weekly contemplative prayer time focused on violent conflicts throughout the world and especially in Ukraine and the Gaza Strip. Wrote a monthly reflection for a major publication. Wrote a monthly reflection for the organization's website. Completed the publication of two books. Hundreds of persons participated in these activities which included women and men, social justice activists, spiritual directors, leaders of women's religious congregations and other organizations, and educators. These opportunities offered the participants to delve deeply into the critical issues facing us as people of faith in our planetary community through dialogue and contemplation.
