Program accomplishments

  • The organizations Childrens Program provides financial and educational support to vulnerable children in southern Ethiopia and northern Kenya who have lost parents due to conflict or health related causes. During the year more than 100 children received assistance covering basic needs school materials and access to primary and secondary education. The program also addressed basic health needs to support consistent school attendance. Seven beneficiaries continued into higher education. The organization also supported 15 children in northern Kenya through the John Fox Fund by paying school fees and ensuring access to education in an underserved area. In addition the Mwangaza Lunch Program provided a daily nutritious meal to more than 40 children many of whom travel long distances to school. This service improved nutritional stability and supported students ability to remain focused throughout the school day. Across these initiatives the organization delivered essential services that improved educational access health stability and overall well being for more than 100 children and their families.
    Expenses $450 · grants $28,109
  • The organization partnered with six churches in Ethiopia to support evangelism activities in surrounding villages. Funds were provided to each church for this purpose and a total of 15 evangelists received financial support through the program during the year. In addition to ongoing evangelism funding the organization also supported a continuing project to document the history of evangelism in the Borana region of Ethiopia. This project initiated in the prior year and continued through 2025 will produce the first historical record of its kind for the region.
    Expenses $450 · grants $10,743
  • The organization conducted the Mega House-Building Project to provide safe housing for families living in inadequate or nonexistent shelters. During the year funds were used to construct two simple homes for families identified as having urgent need. One home was built for a single mother who is deaf and caring for her son. The second home was provided to a single mother and her children who had been living on the streets due to lack of housing. This project is part of the organizations humanitarian work to assist impoverished individuals requiring basic shelter and support.
    Expenses $275 · grants $5,500
  • In 2025 the organization provided drought relief assistance to residents of the Mwangaza Community in Golole northern Kenya. The region experienced severe and prolonged drought resulting in loss of livestock and widespread malnutrition. A major need identified by the community was the inability to reestablish crop fields due to lack of seeds. The organization supplied funds to purchase seeds for local farmers enabling approximately 200 families to replant their fields. This support helped restore food production for household consumption and provided families with the opportunity to generate income from surplus crops.
    grants $2,750
  • In 2025 the organization provided financial assistance for medical needs to nearly 10 individuals in the Isiolo and Sololo regions of Kenya. Because the organization is operated entirely by volunteers program funds are directed primarily to services rather than administrative costs. During the year the organization funded medical care and necessary surgeries for seven visually impaired children resulting in improved vision. Additional individuals received financial support to obtain essential medical treatment that would otherwise have been inaccessible.
    grants $8,715
