Mission
International Coach Federation - North Texas provides educational content for the professional growth, occupational competency, and community support for members.
Program accomplishments
- We celebrated our 30th anniversary and our history of excellence. As the first chapter in ICF, ICF North Texas is proud of the impact and accomplishments we have achieved over the past 30 years. Our chapter was recognized for excellence in Supporting Member Growth and Coaching Excellence, Expanding Community Impact and Awareness of Coaching, and Strengthening and Celebrating the Coaching Community. These focus areas have long been foundations of our chapter's success and have helped us thrive for 30 years. They also reflect alignment with ICF Global's values, strategic mission, and goals.Supporting Member Growth and Coaching Excellence: Our chapter hosted eight hybrid and three virtual monthly member programs. These programs offered 22 Continuing Coach Education Units (CCEUs), including 13.5 Core Competency hours (with 3 Ethics hours) and 8.5 Resource Development hours. We offered seven ongoing LINC (Learn, Interact, Network, Contribute) groups focused on areas including Digital Marketing, MCC Certification, PCC Credential Support, ACC Credential Support, Business Building, Ready to Retire: Now, Later, or Never, Connection Crew for new members, and Internal Coaches. We held more than 90 LINC meetings in total. Our credentialing LINCs each offered up to seven hours of mentor coaching. Our chapter served 263 members, 60% of whom hold an ICF credential. In 2025, 31 members earned a new credential. We continued to demonstrate our commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging through our DEIB Mission Statement and chapter initiatives. Our DEIB Committee hosted a four-month webinar series offering 3 Core Competency and 1 Resource Development CCEU credits. The series drew more than 100 participants and earned recognition from ICF Global for advancing inclusive coaching practices. We introduced Connection Circles across DallasFort Worth to foster networking, collaboration, and community beyond monthly chapter meetings. In the first year, we hosted 19 events with 98 participants. We hosted four virtual New Member Orientation lunches to welcome coaches, share chapter resources, and invite involvement. Our chapter website recorded 13,000 active users and 48,000 page views, reflecting strong engagement and visibility.Expanding Community Impact and Awareness of Coaching: We partnered with Southern Methodist University to co-host an International Coaching Week event, From Burnout to Breakthrough: EQ and Wellbeing for Educational Leaders, attended by 89 participants. Through pro bono initiatives, the chapter contributed 146 coaching hours supporting organizations including the North Texas Food Bank, Success North Dallas, Texas Conference for Women, Stand Beside Them, and Institute for Veterans and Military Families. We refreshed our Speakers Bureau and continued outreach to organizations on topics such as change, communication, and the benefits of coaching. Through a partnership with FreeSpeakers.org, we offered members complimentary profiles and speaking topic visibility on the platform.Strengthening and Celebrating the Coaching Community: We were once again awarded the ICF Chapter Recognition Award - our third consecutive year receiving the honor and the seventh time overall. Our chapter was recognized for supporting members, expanding community impact, and strengthening the coaching community. We proudly hosted the Southeast Region Conference in Fort Worth, welcoming leaders from across the region and ICF Global for three days of collaboration, shared planning, and connection. We supported the All-Texas Coaches Conference through promotion, communication, attendance, and volunteer service. We recognized our seventh annual Distinguished Service Award recipient for his outstanding service to the coaching profession and to our chapter.
