Mission
TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC, THE MEDIA, THE INDUSTRY, AND LEGISLATIVE AND GOVERNMENTAL OFFICIALS AS TO THE SAFETY AND EFFICIENCY OF PROPANE AND RELATED PRODUCTS.
Program accomplishments
- THERE ARE QUARTERLY AND ANNUAL MEETINGS HELD TO PROMOTE INDUSTRY AWARENESS AND ADDITIONAL TRAINING FOR MEMBERS. ALL NEW TOPICS CONCERNING THE INDUSTRY ARE DISCUSSED.
- CONFERENCES ARE HELD TO PROMOTE AND ADVANCE SAFETY THROUGHOUT THE PROPANE INDUSTRY, ACHIEVE PUBLIC AWARENESS AND POLICIES THAT FAVOR THE PRODUCTION, DISTRIBUTION, AND INCREASED USE OF PROPANE, AND TO FOSTER INDUSTRY WIDE COHESION THROUGH COMMUNICATION, LEARNING, NETWORKING, AND COLLABORATION WITH MEMBERS.
- TRAINING AND EDUCATION OF PERSONNEL IN VARIOUS ASPECTS OF THE INDUSTRY AND OBTAINING CETP CERTIFICATION THROUGH THE NATIONAL PROPANE GAS ASSOCIATION CEPT PROGRAM.
