Mission

Primary Mission: Growing and supporting a community for all those who have been impacted by life-altering brain and spine tumors. While many cancer organizations exist none are dedicated exclusively to addressing the unique day to day challenges faced by this cohort of patients caregivers former caregivers and clinicians.

990-EZ for the year ended December 31, 2025

Program accomplishments

  • Monthly Brain Tumor Night Off Events reduce social isolation and build community awareness. We are establishing a community that supports one another so that no one walks this path alone. Brain and spine tumors can lead to significant declines in neurological function mobility and cognition making even simple tasks overwhelming. The resulting emotional stress and social isolation are profound. These events give patients and caregivers the chance to share experiences find solidarity and reclaim moments of normalcy away from the clinical environment. We have provided shared experiences and meals to over 400 members of the brain and spine tumor community.
    Expenses $11,646
  • We offer monthly in-person separate concurrent support groups for brain and spine tumor patients and caregivers. These face to face sessions are led by trained compassionate professionals with clinical oversight. We have grown from 4-6 patient and caregiver attendees to 12-16 per month. We provide a therapeutic space to safely accommodate both physical emotional needs. We initiated a light dinner to remove the hardship of navigating and preparing meals with over 90 participants served.
    Expenses $174
