- THE OBJECTIVES OF THE LOCAL UNION ARE TO EXPAND ITS MEMBERSHIP, AS WELL AS, TO PROTECT AND DEVELOP, THROUGH COLLECTIVE ACTION, THE WELFARE AND INTEREST OF IT, IMPROVE WORKING CONDITIONS, PROMOTE A HIGHER STANDARD OF WAGES, AND TO OBTAIN ECONOMIC ADVANTAGE THROUGH PARTICIPATION IN THE ACTIVITIES OF THE LABOR AND POLITICAL MOVEMENT AND THE COMMUNITY.
