Program accomplishments

  • Future Arts is a pioneering women-led new media arts nonprofit organization bringing tech-forward, accessible, and immersive experiences to Seattle and beyond. This year we produced free public showcases, commissioned new artworks, piloted an artist residency program, and debuted a new interactive livestream program (Future Arts LIVE!) that bridges the physical and digital. Over the past 3+ years, we have produced 25+ events that welcomed over 18,000 direct engagements with our artworks in a digital/physical space, with over 350K impressions locally and globally of our digital content storytelling. We have won national awards, shown at international conferences, and created interdisciplinary art-tech programs for youth. We hope to continue uplifting untold stories through technology and changing Seattle's history to become a cultural and arts tech hub, uplifting its rich and vibrant communities.
