Mission

Nature is healing. We strive to encourage, support, uplift, and motivate each other. We are introducing Nature as an outlet to reduce stress in our daily lives, while also providing a support group. Since our inception, we have evolved to start offering workshops on Gun Violence, Domestic Violence and Suicide Prevention and beyond. Through our comprehensive workshops, we provide essential education, resources, and support to underserved communities. By fostering dialogue, and teaching coping skills and conflict resolution, we strive to create safer, more harmonious environments for all. We welcome men and women from all walks of life, setting aside religious beliefs and nationalities. Our common denominator is Love and our collective passion is to pray for one another, our communities and the Nation(s). We encourage everyone to take time out to be silent before the Water as MNI WICONI (Water is Life) which is a reoccurring phrase you will hear often in our dialogues.

Program accomplishments

  • We were so happy to successfully host both our hopefully annual 3-Day Men's and 3-Day Women's Retreats this year, which were huge successes! We focused on creating separate, supportive spaces where both groups could pause, recharge, and prioritize personal growth, including dedicated time spent out in nature for reflection and stress relief. Through expert-led workshops, we equipped the men with tools for leadership and conflict resolution, while empowering the women with strategies for self-care, boundary setting, and finding purpose. Crucially, both retreats emphasized maximizing time spent with one another in group settings and shared meals, successfully fostering strong new friendships and building lasting accountability networks within both the men's and women's communities. We are confident the insights and practical tools gained are already making a positive difference in the lives of all attendees.

  • Our "Domestic Violence Prevention Programing" are targeted educational programs designed to address and reduce domestic violence through awareness, skill-building, and resource allocation. This workshop typically involves educational sessions that cover the dynamics of domestic violence, its psychological and physical effects, and legal rights and protections available to victims. Participants, including community members, professionals, and survivors, engage in skill-building activities such as safety planning, conflict resolution, and self-care strategies. The workshop also includes interactive elements like role-playing and group discussions to enhance understanding and application of prevention techniques. Resources are provided to connect individuals with support services such as shelters, counseling, and legal assistance. Follow-up actions and evaluations are conducted to assess the workshop's impact and effectiveness, ensuring ongoing support and improvement in strategies for preventing domestic violence.

  • Our Homeless Outreach Program" is a comprehensive initiative aimed at addressing homelessness by providing immediate support and working towards long-term solutions. It offers essential services such as food, clothing, hygiene products, and temporary shelter, alongside health and wellness services including medical care, mental health support, and substance abuse treatment. The program also assists with social services like government benefits, housing resources, and legal aid, while facilitating job training and educational opportunities to enhance self-sufficiency. Through personalized case management, individuals receive tailored support to navigate services, set goals, and develop action plans. Community engagement is a key component, involving other local organizations, volunteers, and businesses to broaden the program's reach and effectiveness. Regular evaluations ensure continuous improvement and a significant impact on addressing homelessness.
