LA ESCUELA COMUNITARIA DEL BRONX (ECB) IS A COMMUNITY-BASED, DUAL LANGUAGE, TUITION-FREE PRIVATE PRESCHOOL. WE NURTURE THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE WHOLE CHILD AND CULTIVATE A SAFE AND STIMULATING ENVIRONMENT THAT CELEBRATES IDENTITY, PROMOTES CURIOSITY, AND EMPOWERS CHILDREN ALONG THEIR JOURNEY OF LIFELONG LEARNING.
Program accomplishments
- LA ESCUELA COMUNITARIA DEL BRONX (ECB) IS A COMMUNITY-BASED, DUAL-LANGUAGE, AND TUITION-FREE PRIVATE PRESCHOOL. ECB NURTURES THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE WHOLE CHILD AND CULTIVATES A SAFE, STIMULATING ENVIRONMENT THAT CELEBRATES IDENTITY, PROMOTES CURIOSITY, AND EMPOWERS CHILDREN ON THEIR JOURNEY OF LIFELONG LEARNING. ECB SERVED 46 FAMILIES, PROVIDING A SAFE SPACE FOR THE LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT OF CHILDREN BETWEEN TWO AND FOUR YEARS OF AGE. STAFF RETURNED AT THE LAST WEEK OF AUGUST FOR WORKSHOPS AND TRAINING; CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES WERE PROVIDED WITH 4 DAYS OF PLAYDATE SESSIONS AND 184 DAYS OF OPEN SCHOOL SESSIONS.Expenses $2,295,047
