Mission

Lambda was created to Provide a Safe & Comfortable Place for LGBTQ+ individuals to go to 12-Step Meetings. However, Lambda is open to Everyone and there are many non LGBTQ attendees, particularly, a large group of single Mom's living in drug recovery house. We Host over 100 different 12 step meetings a month including, AA, NA, CMA, Gambler's Anonymous, AL-Anon and more. There are no fees or dues required but baskets are passed at meetings for free-will donations to help cover expenses and people also have the option to be a Lambda Member by contributing as little as $5.00 per month which helps the recovering person a feeling of belonging as well as being responsible.

990-EZ for the year ended December 31, 2025

Program accomplishments

  • Total 12 step Meeting Rents continue to be good in 2024. WE received $34,333 which was a slight decrease from 2023 but total attendees increased to 33,061. The 12 Step programs we offer are working and we are accomplishing our MISSION.
    Expenses $59,480
  • Member Contributions decreased $4,000 in 2025 vs 2024 because their were no big one-time donations like there was in 2024. Despite the lack of any big donations, we still had a very successful year with a net operating surplus of $3,266. However, After paying $9,000 in Principal payments we did have a decrease in cash this year of $5,000 but feel blessed we have built up a pretty good reserve fund to cover years like this.
  • Lambda continues to improve the beauty of its property through donations of Time by so many menbers doing yardwork, cleaning and making minor improvements. We are so proud of how nice our Buidlding looks both inside and outside and GRATEFUL for the many many hands that makes it so.
