Mission

Program accomplishments
- Increasing the size/scale of Alianza Agricola (base-building) and investing in our members' education and development, provide education and other opportunities for leadership and capacity-building for the organization. Ensuring that our organization continues to operate using principles of democracy and participation in which all members have a voice and say in decisions made, program priorities, and areas of growth. The organization continues to raise awareness of issues of workers and immigrants' rights through community events and cultural celebrations, monthly meetings, annual retreats, visits to people's homes (outreach) and trainings and webinars. (Continued on Schedule O)Our members, organizers and leaders work to raise awareness about our organization and the needs of our community through public presentations and coalition building with ally groups and individuals with whom we work in partnership. This program is supported by contributions.Expenses $84,448
- Worker Cooperative Project: Our goal is to bring farmworkers together to form an organic farm cooperative to produce healthy food using regenerative practices and provide a space for our community - especially children - to learn about organic food production, as well as how food is produced as an effort to ensure healthy food practices. This program is supported by contributions.Expenses $84,448
- Education to elected officials and government agencies to improve public policy that supports our community. In coalition with partner organizations, raise awareness of systemic inequities in treatment of immigrant and low-wage farmworkers and seek policy solutions such as legislative, judicial and administrative remedies. Our priority is to encourage local law enforcement to refrain from collaborating with federal immigration enforcement. Our other priorities include improving farmworker housing conditions by implementing rules and regulations for landlords and farm owners, passing workers' rights legislation and other pro-immigrant policy work such as language access, right to counsel when detained, and access to health care. This program is supported by contributions.Expenses $42,225
