Essential Economic Mobility Program, Essential Resources, Essential Telehealth for the summary

990 for the year ended December 31, 2024

Program accomplishments

  • Essential Families Midwest Inc. confronted urgent challenges facing Kansas Citys underserved families through innovative services in 2024. By efficiently leveraging grants, our team delivered life-changing Essential Economic Mobility support in three core areas: Essential Resources: Over 600 families gained food, financial relief, digital skills, and access to stable housing and health care. Essential Telehealth: More than 800 individuals received trauma-informed counseling, and crisis intervention, regardless of insurance status or transportation barriers. Essential Families stands apart with its commitment to 24/7 real-time impact reporting, enabling funders and stakeholders to track measurable outcomes and transparent progress at any moment. This accountability ensures that every dollar invested translates into sustained community benefit. We urge Grantmakers and funders: Compare our 2024 results with other supported organizations, youll see Essential Families delivers measurable, impactful, and desperately needed services to children and families who otherwise would go unserved. Continued investment is essential to expand these vital safety nets, address persistent waitlists, and secure a more resilient future for Kansas City families in the year ahead.
