Mission

The primary purposes of the Knights of Columbus are charity, fraternity, unity and patriotism. As a subordinate lodge, the Council makes charitable gifts from funds mainly provided by member dues and fundraising events. Fraternity is pursued through social events and members working together on Council activities. Unity is promoted by the requirement that all members must be practicing Catholics. Patriotism is a shared value of all members. See Schedule O for explanatory comments regarding "program services."

Program accomplishments

  • See Schedule O response to this Part III regarding program services.
  • Our council sponsored and conducted a "shred day" allowing parishioners and others to bring sensitive documents and other recyclable paper to the parking lot of our parish for on-site shredding by an independent contractor. Revenue from the event consists of free-will offerings from participants.
