Mission
MDDS IS DEDICATED TO SUPPORTING OUR MEMBERS, PROMOTING THE HIGHEST ETHICAL PRACTICE OF DENTISTRY; PROVIDING CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION, INCLUDING A PREMIER ANNUAL DENTAL CONVENTION; ORAL HEALTH EDUCATION AND OUTREACH TO THE COMMUNITY.
Program accomplishments
- THE SOCIETY PROVIDES REPRESENTATION, CONTINUING DENTAL EDUCATION, AN EXCHANGE OF IDEAS AMONG ITS MEMBERS, THE ART AND SCIENCE OF DENTISTRY, AND A SERVICE TO THE PUBLIC. THE SOCIETY HOLDS THE ANNUAL ROCKY MOUNTAIN DENTAL CONVENTION, THE LARGEST CONTINUING EDUCATION EVENT FOR DENTAL PROFESSIONALS IN THE REGION. ADDITIONALLY, THE MOUNTAIN WEST DENTAL INSTITUTE WAS FORMED TO FURTHER THE MISSION OF THE SOCIETY AND TO PROVIDE ADMINSTRATIVE OFFICE SPACE AS WELL AS DENTAL LABS AND MEETING SPACE FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION CLASSES.
