THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED FREE, CONTINUOUSLY UPDATED, RESEARCH-DRIVEN EDUCATIONAL CONTENT THROUGH THE WEBSITE, NEWSLETTERS, AND SOCIAL MEDIA, HIGHLIGHTING KEY FINDINGS FROM MAJOR MEETINGS SUCH AS ECCO '25 AND DIGESTIVE DISEASE WEEK 2025. THROUGH CONFERENCE ENGAGEMENT, EXPERT SUMMARIES, AND PARTNERSHIPS WITH CLINICIANS, RESEARCHERS, AND PATIENT ORGANIZATIONS, THE ORGANIZATION DISSEMINATED EMERGING RESEARCH ON DIET, NUTRITION, AND IBD MANAGEMENT TO SUPPORT BROADER UNDERSTANDING AND ADOPTION OF NUTRITION-INTEGRATED CARE GLOBALLY.Expenses $95,964
- IN 2025, DEVELOPMENT AND EXPANSION OF TOOLS AND RESOURCES FOR PATIENTS AND PROVIDERS. THE ORGANIZATION EXPANDED TOOLS AND RESOURCES TO MAKE EVIDENCE-BASED NUTRITIONAL THERAPY MORE ACCESSIBLE AND ACTIONABLE FOR PATIENTS AND HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS. THIS INCLUDED THE LAUNCH OF THE IBD NUTRITION NAVIGATOR, AN ALGORITHM-BASED, PATIENT-CENTERED GUIDANCE TOOL DESIGNED TO SUPPORT SHARED DECISION-MAKING AROUND EVIDENCE-BASED NUTRITION OPTIONS. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO MAINTAINED SEARCHABLE ONLINE RESOURCES, INCLUDING PRACTICAL DIET INFORMATION AND A CULTURALLY DIVERSE RECIPE DATABASE WITH MORE THAN 1,000 ENTRIES, TO HELP INDIVIDUALS IDENTIFY APPROPRIATE DIETARY APPROACHES AND APPLY NUTRITION STRATEGIES IN DAILY LIFE.
- COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT, SUPPORTIVE PROGRAMS, AND COLLABORATIVE INITIATIVES. THE ORGANIZATION STRENGTHENED ENGAGEMENT WITH THE IBD COMMUNITY THROUGH VIRTUAL AND IN-PERSON EDUCATION, CONNECTION, AND SUPPORT INITIATIVES. THIS INCLUDED THE LAUNCH OF THE IBD NUTRITION COMMUNITY, A SPACE FOR PEOPLE LIVING WITH IBD AND CAREGIVERS TO CONNECT, SHARE EXPERIENCES, AND LEARN TOGETHER, AS WELL AS TOPIC-FOCUSED WORKSHOPS ADDRESSING PRACTICAL CHALLENGES SUCH AS MANAGING FOOD AND NUTRITION IN DAILY LIFE. IN ADDITION, THE ORGANIZATION COLLABORATED WITH INTERNATIONAL PARTNERS AND CLINICIANS TO PROMOTE THE INTEGRATION OF NUTRITION INTO BROADER CARE DISCUSSIONS, SUPPORTING COORDINATION BETWEEN NUTRITION AND MEDICAL TREATMENT.
