Mission
THE PURPOSE OF ARGOS, A SHELTER DOG RESCUE IS: TO RESCUE ANIMALS FROM SITUATIONS THAT ARE ABUSIVE, ENDANGERING, OR NEGLECTFUL. TO RESCUE ANIMALS IN DANGER OF BEING EUTHANIZED IN NEW MEXICO SHELTERS/POUNDS. TO PROVIDE NECESSARY VETERINARY CARE, GROOMING, REHABILITATION, TRAINING. TO PLACE RESCUED ANIMALS INTO FOSTER HOMES OR SAFE ENVIRONMENTS UNTIL WE FIND PERMANENT ADOPTIVE HOMES.
Program accomplishments
- ARGOS RESCUE SUCCESSFULLY SAVES, PROVIDES VETERINARY CARE, SPAYS AND NEUTERS, REHABILITATES, PROVIDES TEMPORARY BOARDING, GROOMING SERVICES, AND ADOPTES OUT DOGS AND A FEW CATS TO QUALIFIED FOREVER HOMES. IN ADDITION, ARGOS RESCUE HAS AN EXTENSIVE HOSPICE PROGRAM THAT PROVIDES VETERINARY CARE, TEMPORARY BOARDING, SUPPLIES, FOOD, AND SUPPORT TO OUR HOSPICE PROGRAM DOGS. ARGOS RESCUE ALSO PROVIDES COMMUNITY OUTREACH THROUGH SPAYS & NEUTERS, EDUCATION, VACCINES, MEDICATIONS, TEMPORARY BOARDING, GROOMING AND VETERINARY CARE FOR LOW INCOME AND HOMELESS FAMILIES WITH ANIMALS IN NEED IN ORDER TO KEEP THOSE ANIMALS WITH THEIR OWNERS PREVENTING THEM FROM BEING SURRENDERED TO NEW MEXICO SHELTERS.Expenses $176,046 · revenue $190,380
