Mission
Cultivating a vibrant and inclusive community for enthusiasts of Japanese animation and culture through the organization of an engaging and educational annual convention for cultural exchange with Japan, and providing university students with invaluable hands-on experience in event management, leadership, and community building, while fostering broader appreciation for Japanese animation and its diverse cultural impact.
Program accomplishments
- The corporation held Castle Point Anime Convention, a cultural convention focused on Japanese animation and other published arts and media. The convention was held at the Secaucus Meadowlands Convention Center and the Harmony Suites Secaucus, bringing in 4,498 members of the general public. Events included panels featuring industry guests, including voice actors Keith Silverstein, Bryson Baugus, Emi Lo, SungWon Cho, and Emi Nitta, both community-hosted and organization-hosted panels and workshops, entertainment and social gatherings, and an exhibitor hall featuring 218 local artists and vendors selling licensed merchandise imported from Japan.
