Program accomplishments

  • Improving care through access to diagnostic imaging: Teleradiology: up to 400 cases reviewed via the CMRAD platform for clinical second opinion and/or education - EFSTH: Due to anticipated IT infrastructure not yet being in place to start the remote teaching for the Residency training program and the clinical second opinion service, this activity was postponed. - MRCG: 116 clinical cases were uploaded to the CMRAD platform and reviewed by volunteer WWR experts for clinical care. Further operational detail for Sept-Nov 2025 can be found in the attached WWR - MRC Operational Report November 2025. These governance reports are produced twice a year, in collaboration with MRC 2. WWR volunteer Radiologists contribute to monthly MDT/X-ray meetings at MRCG 10-15 complex cases (out of the above 116) were discussed at each MDT/X-ray meeting from Sept to Dec 2025. Previous verbal feedback on this service has highlighted the clinical and education benefits. A more formal clinical audit of this service is about to start, which will gather more detailed information on impact on patient care. 3.
