Mission

The Organization is organized exclusively for religious, charitable, and educational purposes. This program is dedicated to training new pastors, ministers and Christian leaders around the world. We will teach them how to build apprentices, plant churches, and be effective leaders in respect to Biblical topics and Christian principles.

990-EZ for the year ended December 31, 2024

Program accomplishments

  • In 2024, Taking New Ground pursued its vision of "Catalyzing Movements of Multiplying Churches" around the world through international training events, online coaching, regional team development, and the establishment of local networks of churches that collaborate toward greater multiplication. In 2024, Taking New Ground led Catalytic gatherings in Pakistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Slovenia and Croatia. Part of our strategy for multiplication involves the establishment of indigenous led regional teams that are trained to reproduce the ministry model of Taking New Ground. In 2024 these regional teams led Catalyst Community training events on their own in Pakistan, India, the Philippines, Nepal and Bhutan. Our regional team from India also led multiple in-country training gatherings across borders in Nepal and Bhutan. In addition to in-country training, the Global Catalyst team continues to maintain our relational connections with leaders from over 20 countries around the world. As we continue to invest in these leaders and they continue to invest in the leaders in their networks, we are able to maintain a span of care for these nations. In 2024 Taking New Ground also began preparing for new work in Bangladesh, and we anticipate this project moving forward at full speed in 2025. We are also planning to return to Albania to work with the next generation of church planters who have not yet experienced Catalyst Community. Our regional team in Brazil continued their preliminary work gathering pastors in Uruguay for training, and we are planning to lead a Catalyst Community in Uruguay in June of 2025. Looking ahead, most of our efforts will be concentrated in two strategic parts of the world: 1) the Balkans, and 2) South Asia
