Mission
We use our funds to support our school through events for the students (a carnival, field day, talent show, speakers, etc). We also pay to run our PTA including having a website, insurance, and a PO Box. We make donations to things in our larger school district. We do many things to support teachers/staff such as celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week, buying teacher classroom supplies, buying extra toner when funds run low, and providing other small meals/gifts to teachers during the year. We paid to have an Academic Specialist come work with kids who need extra help outside the normal classtime.
Program accomplishments
- Teacher reimbursement - Our PTA gives money each year to teachers to help offset the cost for things they buy out-of-pocket for their classrooms. We supported 46 teachers in the school last year.Expenses $15,945
- We spent money on educational programs to have a mobile educational program come to share the Magic of Science show and an Earth Dome to teach our children in a fun way.Expenses $121,176
