Program accomplishments
- CHILD CARE, INC. DBA CHILD CARE PARTNERS (CCP) HAS SERVED WICHITA FALLS CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES FOR OVER 100 YEARS. CCP WAS ORIGINALLY ESTABLISHED IN 1918 BY MRS. KEMP AND A GROUP OF WOMEN WHO SAW THE NEED FOR A PROTECTIVE CHILDCARE ENVIRONMENT WHILE THEIR MOTHERS WORKED. CCP HAS CONTINUED THIS GRASSROOTS EFFORT TO PROVIDE QUALITY CHILDCARE TO WORKING PARENTS. CURRENTLY, CCP OPERATES FOUR CENTERS THAT SERVE UP TO 180 CHILDREN DAILY. THESE STRATEGICALLY LOCATED CENTERS PROVIDE MUCH MORE THAN CHILDCARE. DEVELOPMENTALLY, BIRTH TO THREE YEARS OF AGE IS THE MOST CRITICAL IN A CHILD'S GROWTH AND IMPACTS THE FUTURE ADULT THAT THEY WILL BECOME. CCP MEETS THESE DEVELOPMENTAL NEEDS THROUGH A STABLE ENVIRONMENT, OFTEN LACKING IN CHILDREN'S LIVES, WHILE PROVIDING A CURRICULUM THAT ENABLES CHILDREN TO FLOURISH. (CONT'D. ON SCHEDULE O)ADDITIONALLY, CCP PROVIDES WRAPAROUND FAMILY SUPPORT SERVICES TO FOSTER STABLE HOME ENVIRONMENTS. THE CCP TEAM SERVES LOW-INCOME, AT-RISK, WORKING FAMILIES THAT CANNOT AFFORD PRIVATE CHILDCARE. THESE FAMILIES ARE OFTEN COMPRISED OF SINGLE PARENTS, GRANDPARENTS, CHILDREN IN FOSTER CARE, AND CHILDREN WITH OPEN CPS CASES.Expenses $1,754,511 · grants $2,647 · revenue $968,030
