Mission
Assisting and counseling children, families, and elderly as mission work in Romania.
Program accomplishments
- Missions for Romania-largest project is Food Deliveries to poor village families, elderly, and children's homes. Businesses donate cold food items must be delivered in villages, along with other staples. Inflation rose to 10.5% in Romania increasing our gas costs, vehicle repair, and road fees.Expenses $14,895
- Missions for Romania-second largest project was assistance to local children. We provide food, clothing, school supplies, healthcare, Christmas shoeboxes, and social and religious activities.Expenses $6,454
- Missions for Romania-Our third largest project was the Crop Project. We grew vegetables in village gardens and crops on several acres. Harvest is used for the children, poor village families, elderly, and a portion to the county to be given to the poor. Expenses included: seeds, fertilizer, insecticide, rental of farm machinery, and storage.Expenses $3,328
- Other program service was our Central Texas Benevolence Project and Chaplaincy Program. A small portion of our yearly budget goes to fund this work. This year we were able to help local families that were struggling in their financial crisis with food, fuel, and energy costs due to the high inflation rate. A small portion was for the purchase of books to give away.Expenses $3,102
