Mission

We are a not-for-profit social club organized to promote skiing and other downhill sports activities as well as year-round recreational activities among adults in the Pikes Peak region. We are exempt under the mutual benefit theory.

990-EZ for the year ended April 30, 2026

Program accomplishments

  • The club sponsored 4 major ski trips. The club arranged hotel lodging and social activities for its members on the trip. Income received from members for trip sign-up was used to pay for lodging, and a social gathering on each trip was paid from club funds, which in each case was minor.
  • The club sponsored 3 formal social events, a Spring into Summer Annual Meeting, a Membership Gathering in the fall, and a Christmas Gathering. Two of these events were at member's homes, to reduce costs. We also coordinated over 100 informal hikes, bike rides, and social events.
  • The club maintains a website from Club Express, a software vendor, and a Facebook page to promote year round social activities and member communications. The club also generates a monthly newsletter to keep members informed of club activities and to promote events to friends and family.
