Mission
Global Voyage is an educational sailing and service giving organization that offers youth and young adults the opportunity to engage with the world of sailing to strengthen their values, skills and knowledge while also giving of themselves by participating in sustainable community development and environmental projects.
Program accomplishments
- Education through sailing: Efforts continued to be focused on re-fitting a sailing vessel to meet safety and reliability requirements in order to have others aboard. In addition, relationships have been fostered with 2 other organizations that will be partners or referrals in the future.Expenses $80,600
- Education through cultural exchange: connections were fostered with many individuals and organizations throughout the Lesser Antilles and the Virgin Islands while sailing between Puerto Rico and Trinidad.
