- THE ORGANIZATION RAISED FUNDS FOR THE MIAMI PROJECT TO CURE PARALYSIS, A RESEARCH CENTER DEDICATED TO DISCOVERING, DEVELOPING, AND ADVANCING TREATMENTS AND CURES FOR NEUROLOGICAL DISEASES AND DISORDERS, INCLUDING TRAUMATIC SPINAL CORD AND BRAIN INJURIES, PERIPHERAL NERVE INJURIES, ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE, PARKINSON'S DISEASE, AMYOTROPHIC LATERAL SCLEROSIS (ALS), MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS, AND STROKE.THE ORGANIZATION EDUCATES THE PUBLIC ABOUT THE GROUNDBREAKING AND INSPIRING RESEARCH CONDUCTED AT THE MIAMI PROJECT TO CURE PARALYSIS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI SCHOOL OF MEDICINE THROUGH PERSONAL OUTREACH, PRESENTATIONS TO COMMUNITY AND GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS, BY SHARING VIDEOS AND INFORMATION ABOUT THE RESEARCH ON ITS WEBSITE, SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS, AND TRADITIONAL MEDIA OUTLETS.Expenses $4,143,464 · grants $3,734,000

QUALIFIED APPLICANTS, WHO MUST PROVIDE DOCUMENTATION OF MEDICAL AND FINANCIAL NEED, RECEIVE CUSTOMIZED WHEELCHAIRS DESIGNED TO MEET THEIR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS.
