LA MUSICA'S MISSION IS TO BRING TOGETHER THE FINEST MUSICIANS TO PRESENT EXCITING PROGRAMS OF FAMILIAR AND SELDOM-HEARD CHAMBER MUSIC, COMMUNICATING A JOY IN PERFORMANCE TO ENTHUSIASTIC AUDIENCES.
Program accomplishments
- LA MUSICA DI ASOLO PRESENTED A SIX-CONCERT SEASON UNDER ARTISTIC DIRECTOR WU HAN WITH SINGLE CONCERTS IN JANUARY, FEBRUARY, AND MARCH AND THREE CONCERTS IN APRIL. PERFORMERS WERE DRAWN FROM TOP PROFESSIONALS FROM ACROSS THE U.S. THERE WERE PRE-CONCERT TALKS BEFORE EACH OF THE THREE APRIL CONCERTS TO GIVE AUDIENCES A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THE WORKS BEING PERFORMED. STUDENTS FROM THE SARASOTA SUZUKI SCHOOL, RIVERVIEW HIGH SCHOOL AND OTHERS ATTENDED CONCERTS AS PART OF THE "MUSICAL KIDS GO FREE" PROGRAM.Expenses $318,611 · revenue $110,024
