Mission

THE ARCHITECTURAL ART RECLAMATION FUND'S PURPOSE IS TO RAISE PUBLIC AWARENESS OF OUR ARCHITECTURAL RICHNESS AND TO PRESERVE WHAT IS LEFT OF IT FROM BEING WASTED AND NOT BEING REUSED. MONEY RAISED WILL GO TO THE EXPENSE OF RUNNING VARIOUS PROGRAMS OF RECLAIMING AND RESTORING PIECES FROM DEMOLITION THAT WOULD OTHERWISE BE DESTINED FOR LANDFILL AND OR DESTRUCTION, NOT LIMITED TO BUT IN ADDITION TO EDUCATIONAL TRAINING ASPECTS. THOSE EDUCATIONAL ASPECTS IN PART WILL BE THE TRAINING OF PEOPLE THAT WANT TO GAIN AND CONTINUE SPECIALIZED SKILLS RELATED TO PRESERVING ARCHITECTURAL ART VIA RESTORATION SKILLS AND REPLICATION AND CREATION OF ARCHITECTURAL ART AND OBTAINING THEM FROM OLDER GENERATIONS WITH SKILLS BOUND FOR EXTINCTION THAT OTHERWISE WOULD BE LOST FOREVER. IN ADDITION, SOME PIECES WILL BE SOLD AS PART OF A CONTINUOUS FUNDRAISING DRIVE TO KEEP THIS ENDEAVOR GOING FINANCIALLY. SOME PIECES WILL BE KEPT AND USED TO BUILD A COLLECTION TO BE DISPLAYED IN AN UNCONVENTIONAL MUSEUM LIKE SETTI
