THE PURPOSE OF THE CORPORATION IS TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ABOUT AZOREAN MARITIME HISTORY AND AZOREAN CULTURE AND ESPECIALLY THE SKILLS AND CRAFTS RELATED TO AZOREAN WHALING HISTORY AND SEAMANSHIP.
