Mission
The Love Project formerly A Golden Heart exists for the purpose of fulfilling the duties of Matthew 25:35-36. Our goal is to house feed and take care of the needs of the homeless sick and tend to those who are incarcerated. Ultimately our goal is to help the least of these become productive and contributing members in society.
Program accomplishments
- Our initial partnership with Loaves and Fishes allowed us to serve up to 300 meals monthly. Due to imminent domain the soup kitchen was purchased by the city and a new state of the art building is being built. Currently the organization is preparing to begin receiving state contracts. We are seeking to win a contract that will allow us to provide hospital sitting services to children in the conservatory of CPS
