Program accomplishments

  • AIHS hosts a website with many presentations, lectures and other educational resources for the benefit of our members. Some information is freely available at this website to the pain and headache community as well. Also maintain an online medical journal where we accept manuscripts for publication as open access: https://www.ahmjournal.com/
    Expenses $5,143
  • Millions of Americans are suffering from bad headaches and there is a paucity in headache specialist. It is estimated to have one headache doctor for every 100k headache patients. AIHS hosts multiple meetings and workshops every year to educate and train physicians on the diagnosis and management of intractable headaches. During 2025, 1 in-person sessions were held.
    Expenses $60,711
  • This is the cost to maintain an online program if it is necessary to be utilized. It was a priority to provide in person events in 2025.
    Expenses $215
