SEE SCHEDULE O.MIYAMOTO GLOBAL DISASTER RELIEF IS 501(C)(3) NONPROFIT CORPORATION THAT PROVIDES DISASTER MITIGATION RESPONSE, RELIEF AND RECONSTRUCTION SERVICES FOLLOWING NATURAL DISASTER. IT IS THE ONLY NONPROFIT STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING ORGANIZATION IN THE WORLD THAT PROVIDES EXPERTISE AT THE CRITICAL PHASE OF DISASTER. MIYAMOTO RELIEF WORKS WITH NATIONAL GOVERNMENTS, THE UNITED NATIONS, AND NONGOVERNMENT ORGANIZATION (NGOS) TO STRATEGIZE AND IMPLEMENT DISASTER MITIGATION PROGRAMS.

SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF THE TURKEY EARTHQUAKE RESPONSE AND RECOVERY PROGRAM IN PARTNERSHIP WITH HABITAT FOR HUMANITY NETHERLANDS.2. DETAILED DAMAGE AND REPAIR ASSESSMENT OF ANANDA NIKETAN DURBAR IN NEPAL IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING STUDENTS FOR HUMANITY.3. LAUNCH OF THE 1000 DRAWINGS COMMUNITY-BUILDING AND FUNDRAISING INITIATIVE TO SUPPORT FAMILIES DISPLACED BY THE 2025 PACIFIC PALISADES AND EATON FIRES IN LOS ANGELES.THESE PROGRAMS ADVANCED MIYAMOTO RELIEF'S MISSION OF PROVIDING NONPROFIT ENGINEERING AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO DISASTER-AFFECTED AND AT-RISK COMMUNITIES.1. TURKEY EARTHQUAKE RESPONSE AND RECOVERY PROGRAM: IN 2025, MIYAMOTO RELIEF SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED ITS MORE THAN TWO-YEAR EARTHQUAKE RESPONSE AND RECOVERY PROGRAM FOLLOWING THE DEVASTATING 2023 TRKIYE EARTHQUAKES. IN PARTNERSHIP WITH HABITAT FOR HUMANITY NETHERLANDS, MIYAMOTO RELIEF IMPLEMENTED A LARGE-SCALE EMERGENCY HOUSING REPAIR PROGRAM IN EARTHQUAKE-AFFECTED COMMUNITIES. THROUGH AN EXTENSIVE BENEFICIARY IDENTIFICATION AND SELECTION PROCESS, VULNERABLE HOUSEHOLDS, PARTICULARLY ELDERLY RESIDENTS, WERE PRIORITIZED FOR ASSISTANCE. MIYAMOTO RELIEF ENGINEERS CONDUCTED DETAILED STRUCTURAL DAMAGE AND REPAIR ASSESSMENTS, PREPARED BILLS OF QUANTITIES (BOQS), AND PROVIDED TECHNICAL OVERSIGHT OF REPAIR ACTIVITIES. AS A RESULT, EARTHQUAKE-DAMAGED HOMES DEEMED REPAIRABLE WERE RESTORED TO SAFE AND HABITABLE CONDITIONS, ENABLING FAMILIES TO LEAVE TEMPORARY SHELTERS AND RETURN TO THEIR HOMES. THE PROGRAM WAS SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED DURING THE FIRST QUARTER OF 2025.2. DETAILED DAMAGE AND REPAIR ASSESSMENT OF ANANDA NIKETAN DURBAR, NEPAL: MIYAMOTO RELIEF PARTNERED WITH THE STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING STUDENTS FOR HUMANITY (SESH) FROM CALIFORNIA POLYTECHNIC STATE UNIVERSITY, SAN LUIS OBISPO (CAL POLY SLO), TO IMPLEMENT A CULTURAL HERITAGE PRESERVATION INITIATIVE IN NEPAL. IN AUGUST 2025, FIFTEEN CAL POLY SLO STUDENTS TRAVELED TO NEPAL TO SUPPORT MIYAMOTO RELIEF IN CONDUCTING A DETAILED DAMAGE AND REPAIR ASSESSMENT OF ANANDA NIKETAN DURBAR IN PULCHOWK, LALITPUR. ANANDA NIKETAN DURBAR IS A RANA-ERA PALACE CONSTRUCTED BETWEEN 1890 AND 1910 BY PRIME MINISTER BIR SHUMSHER FOR HIS SON, ANAND SHUMSHER RANA. THE PALACE IS AN IMPORTANT EXAMPLE OF NEPAL'S ARCHITECTURAL HERITAGE, BLENDING EUROPEAN NEOCLASSICAL ARCHITECTURE WITH TRADITIONAL NEPALI DESIGN, AND HAS SERVED AS THE ADMINISTRATIVE BUILDING OF PULCHOWK ENGINEERING CAMPUS AT TRIBHUVAN UNIVERSITY SINCE 1958. MIYAMOTO RELIEF AND THE SESH TEAM DEVELOPED TECHNICAL RECOMMENDATIONS FOR REPAIR, RESTORATION, AND SEISMIC STRENGTHENING TO IMPROVE THE BUILDING'S RESILIENCE TO FUTURE EARTHQUAKES WHILE PRESERVING ITS HISTORIC AND CULTURAL SIGNIFICANCE.3. LAUNCH OF THE 1000 DRAWINGS INITIATIVE: IN 2025, MIYAMOTO RELIEF LAUNCHED THE 1000 DRAWINGS INITIATIVE IN RESPONSE TO THE DEVASTATING PACIFIC PALISADES AND EATON FIRES IN LOS ANGELES, WHICH DESTROYED APPROXIMATELY 16,000 STRUCTURES AND DISPLACED THOUSANDS OF FAMILIES.THE INITIATIVE IS A CITYWIDE ART EXHIBITION AND FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN THAT TRANSFORMS DONATED ARTWORK INTO DIRECT ASSISTANCE FOR FIRE-DISPLACED FAMILIES. THROUGH POP-UP EXHIBITIONS HOSTED AT SPECIAL EVENTS AND IN PUBLICLY ACCESSIBLE SPACES, INCLUDING STOREFRONTS, GALLERIES, AND COMMUNITY VENUES, 1000 DRAWINGS BRINGS TOGETHER ARCHITECTS, ARTISTS, DESIGNERS, ENGINEERS, STUDENTS, AND THE BROADER COMMUNITY TO SUPPORT DISASTER RECOVERY. FUNDS RAISED THROUGH THE INITIATIVE PROVIDE DIRECT CASH ASSISTANCE TO FAMILIES MOST AFFECTED BY THE FIRES.
