Mission
Post 77 is a nonprofit veteran service organization dedicated to providing essential support to veterans their families and the broader community. Through various initiatives and programs Post 77 offers a range of services aimed at enhancing the well-being and quality of life of veterans and their loved ones. The organizations mission is centered on ensuring that veterans receive the care resources and assistance they deserve while fostering a strong sense of community and camaraderie among all those who have served.
Program accomplishments
- Our organization actively engages in the annual Poppy distribution event a key fundraiser supporting veteran relief and American Legion programs that directly assist veterans and their families in need. The impact of our efforts fluctuates based on the number of veterans seeking assistance each year.
- The organization conducted a fundraising initiative by organizing a candy bar sale at local stores. The proceeds from this activity were utilized to provide financial support to youth baseball teams sponsored by Post 77. Typically Post 77 sponsors three teams each consisting of 12 players.
- We successfully secured substantial donations to address a critical safety concern by removing and replacing a hazardous stucco wall on our premises. This project not only enhanced the safety of our building for all occupants but also contributed to its aesthetic improvement.
