Program accomplishments

  • IN 2019 PARK COUNTY COMMUNITY FOUNDATION (PCCF) BECAME PARK COUNTY CANCER ALLIANCE'S (PCCA) FISCAL SPONSOR. IN MARCH OF 2023 PCCA HAD GROWN ENOUGH TO BECOME ITS OWN 501(C)(3).SINCE 2019 PCCA HAS GIFTED OVER 92,906 TO 74 DIFFERENT GRANT RECIEPIENTS. IN 2025 WE GIFTED 33,000 TO 14 GRANT RECIPIENTS. PCCA OFFERS WEEKLY YOGA CLASSES FOR CANCER PATIENTS AND THEIR LOVED ONES. PCCA ALSO OFFERS TWICE A MONTH EMOTIONAL SUPPORT GROUPS FOR THOSE AFFECTED BY CANCER IN OUR COMMUNITY. OUR GOAL FOR 2026 IS TO CONTINUE OUR CURRENT PROGRAMS AND BE ABLE TO OFFER MORE ONE ON ONE COUNSELING BY A LICENSED SOCIAL WORKER. OUR FUNDRAISING IN 2025 REACHED AN ALL TIME HIGH WITH THE GENEROUS DONATIONS DURING PCCF'S ANNUAL GIVE-A-HOOT FUNDRAISER.IN TOTAL PCCA RECEIVED MORE THAN 41,000 THROUGH GIVE-A-HOOT IN 2025. THIS ALLOWS PCCA TO INCREASE OUR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO EACH FINANCIAL GRANT RECIPIENT IN 2025 TO UP TO 2500 FROM 1500. WE INCREASED OUR COMMUNITY PRESENCE THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA WITH ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT. WE PARTICIPATED IN LIVINGSTON HEALTH CARE'S FALL FESTIVAL. WE WERE ABLE TO PARTIALLY FUND OUR MINDFUL YOGA PROGRAM IN 2025 USING A GRANT WE RECEIVED FROM COMMUNITY CLOSET. WE RECEIVED 5000 THROUGH AMB WEST FOUNDATION'S 3 YEAR COLLABORATION WITH CANCER SUPPORT COMMUNITY TO FUND OUR EMOTIONAL SUPPORT GROUP AND ADDITIONAL PROGRAMMING EXPENSES IN 2025. IN 2025 WE HOPE TO GIVE 15 GRANTS UP TO 2500 EACH TO LOCAL CANCER PATIENTS, MAINTAIN OUR WEEKLY MINDFUL YOGA CLASSES, AND CONTINUE A TWICE A MONTH EMOTIONAL SUPPORT GROUP FOR CANCER PATIENTS AND THEIR LOVED ONES. PCCA HAS GROWN THROUGH COMMUNITY SUPPORT. IT'S APAPRENT THE NEED FOR CANCER SUPPORT IS EVER PRESENT. THE PCCA BOD BELIEVES WE DO MAKE A POSITIVE DIFFERENCE.
