Mission
To share the love of Jesus Christ by cultivating a passion for justice in our community, providing free legal services and hope in an urgent care setting to those in need in Los Angeles County and inspiring and training attorneys and other volunteers to provide such services as an outgrowth of their Christian faith.
Program accomplishments
- DURING 2024 THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED 927 FREE LEGAL SERVICES TO VERY LOW INCOME INDIVIDUALS THROUGH LEGAL AID CLINIC APPOINTMENTS (IN PERSON AND TELEPHONIC AND ZOOM MEETINGS), INDIVIDUAL TELEPHONE CONSULTATIONS, REFERRALS, HEARINGS AND WORKSHOPS. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO TRAINED ATTORNEYS AND OTHER VOLUNTEERS AND LAW STUDENT INTERNS TO SERVE, WITH 229 VOLUNTEERS SERVING IN 2024. THERE WERE 12 MONTHLY CLINICS IN 2024. 11 LAW STUDENTS FROM LAW SCHOOLS THROUGHOUT SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA PARTICIPATED IN OUR SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM FOR 10 WEEKS, FOR 4 DAYS AND 30 HOURS PER WEEK, AND AN ADDITIONAL 98 LAW STUDENTS SERVED AS INTERNS DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR IN 2024.Expenses $103,012
