Mission
THE MISSION OF THE MADISON COUNTY FISH AND GAME ASSOCIATION IS TO PROMOTE OUTDOOR RECREATION, WILDLIFE CONSERVATION, AND COMMUNITY EDUCATION THROUGH ACTIVITIES CENTERED AROUND FISHING, HUNTING, AND ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP. SINCE ITS FOUNDING IN 1946, THE ASSOCIATION HAS REMAINED COMMITTED TO PRESERVING MADISON LAKE AND ITS SURROUNDING LANDS, SUPPORTING WILDLIFE STOCKING EFFORTS, OFFERING HUNTER SAFETY AND YOUTH EDUCATION PROGRAMS, AND FOSTERING COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT IN THE OUTDOORS.
Program accomplishments
- DURING THE YEAR, THE MADISON COUNTY FISH AND GAME ASSOCIATION CONTINUED TO PROMOTE OUTDOOR RECREATION, WILDLIFE CONSERVATION, AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT THROUGH ITS PROGRAMMING AND FACILITY OFFERINGS. THE ASSOCIATION MAINTAINED ITS TRAPSHOOTING RANGES AND HOSTED A VARIETY OF EVENTS INCLUDING TRAPSHOOTING LEAGUES, REGISTERED SHOOTS, AND CARD SHOOTS OPEN TO MEMBERS AND THE PUBLIC. LOCATED ALONG THE BANKS OF MADISON LAKE, THE CLUB PROVIDED A WELCOMING SPACE FOR SPORTSMEN AND WOMEN TO GATHER, PRACTICE SAFE SHOOTING SPORTS, AND FOSTER FELLOWSHIP. MEMBER VOLUNTEERS SUPPORTED THE UPKEEP OF THE GROUNDS AND CLUBHOUSE AND PLAYED A VITAL ROLE IN SUSTAINING THE ORGANIZATIONS LONGSTANDING TRADITION OF OUTDOOR EDUCATION AND RECREATION, ESTABLISHED IN 1946.Expenses $43,131 · revenue $31,429
