THE CINCINNATI USA CONVENTION & VISITORS BUREAU IS AN AGGRESSIVE SALES, MARKETING, AND SERVICE ORGANIZATION. OUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY IS TO POSITIVELY IMPACT THE REGION'S AREA ECONOMY THROUGH CONVENTION, TRADESHOW AND VISITOR EXPENDITURES, AND PROVIDE QUALITY SERVICE TO OUR CLIENTS.
Program accomplishments
- AMOUNT OF DEFINITE GROUP ROOM NIGHTS INCREASED BY APPROXIMATELY 2% (FROM 128K TO 130K) WHICH MEANS WE HAD MORE GROUP BOOKINGS INTO THE FUTURE. THE AMOUNT OF TENTATIVE GROUP ROOM NIGHTS (AMOUNT OF POTENTAL GROUP BUSINESS) INCREASED 48% (FROM 410K TO 615K). WE RECEIVED OVER 24 COMPLETED SURVEYS WITH A RATING OF OVER 95%.
- SOCIAL MEDIA CLICK THROUGHS INCREASE 42% FROM PRIOR YEAR WHICH MEANS MORE POTENTIAL VISITORS ARE SEEING CINCINNATI. WEB SITE TRAFFIC WAS UP 62% IN VISITORS (FROM 3.1 MILLION TO 5.2MILLION). STORIES PLACED WITHIN THE MEDIA GENERATED 1.9 BILLION DOMESTIC AND 30.9 MILLION INTERNATIONAL IMPRESSIONS (UP 40% FROM THE PRIOR YEAR).
- VISIT CINCY HELPED LAUNCH AND SUPPORT THE NEW CINCINNATI SPORTS COMMISSION. WORKING WITH MEET NKY THROUGH THE REGIONAL TOURISM ASSOCIATION, WE WERE ABLE TO INSPIRE TRAVEL AND TRIP PLANNING TO THE CINCY REGION BY INCREASING THE ENGAGEMENT WITH WEB, SOCIAL, AND PRINT MATERIALS (INCREASE OF APPROXIMATELY 20% FROM PRIOR YEAR). INCREASED COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT IN OUR INTERNATIONAL HOSPITALITY LEADERSHIP PROGRAM.
