Program accomplishments

  • TCF mercy cares for over 100 orphans through feeding, caring for their physical needs, educating them and giving them spiritual training. One orphan who came to us last year was Laurinda. She is 12 years old and from Dondo, Mozambique where our main work centers. She came into our care in March, brought by Social Services, in coordination with the police, due to mistreatment. At the time of her arrival, her entire body was covered in wounds resulting from the physical aggression she suffered at the hands of her own father and stepmother. However, she is now doing well and has shown herself to be cheerful, intelligent, and friendly.
    Expenses $95,786 · revenue $103,629
  • TCF Mercy promotes spiritual values, encouraging adults and children in following Jesus Christ, and in providing training for church leaders. We host a conference every summer, inviting leaders and Christ followers from Malawi, Zimbabwe and Mozambique. This year national, provincial, district and local pastors were involved in the conference. Pastor Rego, who is involved in these conferences says that they are bringing great healing to Mozambique and other countries who participate, including Malawi, Zimbabwe, and particularly the United States.
