- OVERSEAS MARKET DEVELOPMENT - THE COUNCIL PROMOTES THE DEVELOPMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF THE OVERSEAS MARKETS FOR AMERICAN HARDWOOD PRODUCTS IN COOPERATION WITH THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE. CURRENTLY THE ASSOCIATION HAS OFFICE LOCATIONS IN HONG KONG, THE UNITED KINGDOM, MEXICO, AND JAPAN THAT SERVICE FOREIGN MARKETS AROUND THE WORLD.
