Mission

The mission of Yeshua's House Transitional Home is to restore hope, healing, and independence to women and their children recovering from abuse, homelessness, and financial hardship by providing a safe, faith-centered home and comprehensive wrap-around services that nurture spiritual renewal, emotional healing, financial stability, and healthy family life.

990-EZ for the year ended December 31, 2025

Program accomplishments

  • Transitional Home Operations and Maintenance: Since purchasing the home in 2017, we have invested over $50,000 in comprehensive capital improvements to the transitional housing facility, including roof replacement, new windows, new plumbing, water heater and boiler replacement, sidewalk, and backyard fence installation to enhance resident safety, improve energy efficiency, and ensure a stable, supportive living environment. In our short year July 1, 2025, through December 31, 2025, we remodeled our first-floor bathroom and laundry room, repaired structural damage and replaced the flooring and shower. We conducted necessary facility repairs and upkeep as needed to ensure a dignified, clean, and welcoming environment for our residents in transition. We maintained a comprehensive security system to protect residents and property, allowing for a 100% secure, trauma-informed, and uninterrupted residential program.
    Expenses $27,028
  • Resident and non-Resident Services / Domestic Abuse Recovery Program: Secure, temporary (up to 18 months) residential housing and support services for women and women with children who have experienced domestic abuse, homelessness, etc. Wraparound services: We have transitioned from Zoom counseling to in-person counseling with a licensed abuse/trauma counselor; added a certified parenting coach; continued our financial management education and training; and have continued with support group. We supplied $2,802 in supplemental funds for direct resident emergencies including a resident's car insurance. We facilitated access to comprehensive supportive services and provided job opportunities and career readiness training, including resume development, to residents, resulting in 100% obtaining gainful employment. We provided transportation to and from work, medical and social service appointments, job interviews, daycare, food banks, stores, and the DMV. Six ladies and five children resided at Yeshua's House for a total of 21 months. Altogether, ladies attended 37 sessions of wraparound services (counseling sessions, support group, financial management, and parent coaching). Two found jobs, two transitioned into apartments, one went to live with a relative, and one left for a recovery program. Since inception, we have housed 89 women and 58 children. We also provided nonresident support to women in the community who have been in need, providing help such as hotel stays, meals by way of grocery shopping and restaurants, transportation, clothing, and other items needed. Ten ladies benefited from this.
    Expenses $5,014
  • Organizational Capacity Building: Continued training with our nonprofit consultant, maintained our administrative assistant, and hired a bookkeeper. Officers attended several webinars on nonprofit best practices, and the Board completed the Center for Nonprofit Excellence Assessment and the Annual Executive Director Assessment. Six Board Members and two staff members benefited.
    Expenses $262
