THE MISSION OF THE MERCER COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY IS TO COLLECT AND PRESERVE ARTIFACTS, MANUSCRIPTS, PUBLISHED MATERIALS AND RECORDS RELATING TO MERCER COUNTY'S PRE-HISTORY AND HISTORY AND USE THESE TO INCREASE PUBLIC AWARENESS AND APPRECIATION FOR MERCER COUNTY'S HISTORICAL ARTIFACTS AND COLLECTIBLES FOR THE FURTHER PURPOSE OF INCREASING AWARENESS AND APPRECIATION FOR MERCER COUNTY'S HERITAGE
