990 for the year ended December 31, 2025

Program accomplishments

  • In 2025, Hilliard Food Pantry Plus served more than 17,000 individuals through programs designed not only to meet urgent needs, but also to help families build stronger and more stable futures. The organization distributed more than 800,000 pounds of nutritious food through pantry services and senior outreach while the Hilliard Rotary Teaching Garden provided fresh produce and hands-on education in gardening, nutrition, and healthy living. Hilliard Food Pantry Plus also provided $67,463 in utility assistance to 339 families facing financial hardship and assumed management of Feeding Hilliard Students, ensuring that more than 400 students received food every Friday to help carry them through the weekend. Through resource clinics, neighbors received individualized support navigating housing concerns, benefit applications, employment barriers, and access to community resources, resulting in 176 benefit applications facilitated during the year. Educational classes in cooking, gardening, budgeting, and financial literacy further equipped families with practical tools to strengthen household well-being and long-term stability. At the same time, Hilliard Food Pantry Plus continued to expand its Plus programs, creating spaces where generosity, encouragement, and community connection could thrive. The Share Closet, a free store open to everyone in the service area, provided clothing, household goods, books, and other essentials grounded in the belief that there is enough to go around. Seasonal initiatives such as the Holiday Shop and Back-to-School Giveaway helped families navigate financially stressful seasons with practical support and moments of joy, while resident services offered personalized guidance and meaningful connections to additional community resources. These efforts were powered by more than 1,500 volunteers who contributed 6,781 hours of service across all organizational programs
