Mission
The Atlantic Maritime Employees Union is administered as a democratic service organization to provide and maintain a safe work/living environment, maximum overall compensation, protection, and job security to career-minded professional sailors and seamen who comprise its membership.
Program accomplishments
- The Atlantic Maritime Employees Union helps its members who are at sea on a daily basis answer questions about the contract ratified by the membership. Works with Management on any issue brought up from the membership.
