Mission

Our mission is to help fill some of the gaps with the things these kids need most - backpacks and school supplies, warm new coats for winter and gifts to help make the holidays special. We work with local schools, shelters and churches to identify and serve children in need. And we work with generous members of our communities - like you - to fulfill the needs of these children.

990-EZ for the year ended December 31, 2025

Program accomplishments

  • We want kids looking and feeling great for the first day of school. That's why local barbers, beauticians and other volunteers join us each year to give over 100 free haircuts.
    Expenses $29,156
  • We partner with local businesses to fill over 2,500 backpacks with brand-new notebooks, sharpened pencils and other fun supplies. Then, we distribute the filled backpacks to schools, shelters and non-profits throughout Fairfax County and surrounding areas!
    Expenses $29,156
  • With local temperatures dipping below freezing on average of 71 days each year, our kids need warm winter coats. In partnership with Operation Warm and other organizations, we distribute over 3,000 coats to kids in need each winter. These Made in America coats not only bring warmth and joy to impoverished children but they also create new American jobs.
    Expenses $29,156
  • Each year, we come together with our community to collect and distribute over 3,500 toys and bikes. Remembering the true meaning of the holidays, we share these gifts with local families who struggle financially.
    Expenses $29,156
