Program accomplishments
- In FY24 FiveMyles organized 21 solo and group exhibitions of contemporary art in the 1,500 sq. ft. Main Gallery space and in the adjacent 120 sq. ft. Plus/Space. We presented the work of 72 visual artists. For 5 different exhibitions, we organized conversations with speakers from different fields in the Humanities alongside the exhibitions curators, offering the public a different lens to connect with the work on display. We also ran our SpaceProgram, which offers our space, free of charge, for live performances in a wide array of disciplines. The 24 SpaceProgram events in FY24 took place inside the gallery and on our wide sidewalk. Thanks to this flexible setup we were able to present live music, dance, spoken word, acted, interactive performances, readings and pop-up exhibitions, film screenings and artist talks by 83 artists. In total, a physical audience of approximately 4400 people attended FiveMyles programs. All events and exhibitions are free of charge.Expenses $155,017 · revenue $113,371
