Mission

WFWP asserts that the family is the cornerstone for peace in the world, and that mature couples are the foundation for strong and loving families. We encourage every woman to become a "woman of peace" through cultivating her heart, the mother's heart, to care not just for her own children, but for the children of others, the children of other nations, the children of the world, by developing and expressing the qualities of empathy, forgiveness, and unconditional love.

Program accomplishments

  • SUMMARY:We've achieved extraordinary milestones this year:Building Tribes for Women: With over 25 HerTribe communities launched this year, we are nurturing true womanhood, sisterhood, and fostering an environment that engages the next generation.Empowering Women Leaders: This year, we partnered in over 70 community initiatives, including HerStory Awards, Bridge of Peace ceremonies, and outreach programs with women leaders.Global Giving: We contributed over $100,000 to support international humanitarian projects and local chapter initiatives, bringing hope and resilience to communities both near and far.HERTRIBE AND BEYOND: Helping Women ThriveThis year, we proudly launched 25 HerTribes-small groups where women come together to find strength, sisterhood, and purpose. These safe, nurturing spaces provide the environment for women to connect deeply, share their stories, and explore their journey toward true womanhood. Guided by True Mother's words, each gathering inspires accountability, empowerment, and a renewed sense of identity in alignment with the vision of our Creator.Expanding Our Reach:To expand our impact, we refreshed our newsletter and social media outreach, developing free resources and paid programs that resonate with women seeking spiritual and personal growth. Each of these aspects funnels into our new marketing approach which aims to show the value of WFWP membership and products.AWAKEN RETREATS: Unlocking True WomanhoodWe hosted three Awaken Retreats this year in the Bay Area, Pennsylvania, and Chicago, welcoming over 200 women into sacred spaces of renewal and discovery. These retreats go beyond being a break from the ordinary; they are profound opportunities for women to confront limiting beliefs, heal past wounds, and step into their true identities. Each retreat is intentionally designed to guide women through a journey of self-discovery, drawing on Mother Moon's teachings about Heavenly Mother's essence. For many participants, the realization that they reflect Heavenly Mother's heart was nothing short of transformative. These revelations brought peace, clarity, and a renewed sense of purpose, as women were empowered to see their worth and potential.EXPANDING OUR LEADERSHIPThis year, our leadership network flourished, achieving remarkable milestones and expanding its influence in meaningful ways. Each quarter, chapters with GWPN (Global Women's Peace Network) hubs are encouraged to host 4 programs: March: HerStory Award (International Day of Women), May: Mother's Day, September: Bridge of Peace (International Day of Peace), and December: Schools of Africa Fundraiser. Our clarity of vision and activity has led to tremendous growth in the GWPN realm which has picked up momentum in 2024.These efforts are developing a growing network of women leaders who share the same mind and heart: sustainable peace that goes beyond all barriers. The GWPN continues to serve as a platform for collaboration and innovation, uniting women around the shared goal of building a world of peace and harmony.70 community initiatives in the GWPN hubs60 HerStory Awardees100 Women Leaders connected to the GWPN70 memoirs from Dr. Hak Ja Han distributedHIGH LEVEL OUTREACH & RELATIONSHIP BUILDINGIn the latter part of 2024, we embarked on an ambitious effort to connect with every woman Governor and state First Lady in the United States. This outreach reflects our desire to connect with like-minded women leaders and work together toward peace at the state and national levels. In the Arizona we brought together former HerStory Awardees for a reunion, shared updates on each of our projects and made plans to work together to host the next HerStory Award program in March 2025 togetherThanks to the dedicated and tireless efforts of the Hawai'i chapter, WFWP USA had the incredible opportunity to meet with First Lady Kanani Green, wife of the Governor of Hawai'i, and learn more about her inspiring work and contributions to the community. In recognition of her outstanding example, we were honored to present her with the prestigious Global Women's Peace Ambassador Award. First Lady Green was so moved by the award that she shared her heartfelt appreciation on her social media page.GIVING FORWARD AND GLOBALLYThanks to our improved fundraising efforts and outreach initiatives, WFWP USA was able contribute over $100,000 globally this year, funding both local and international projects that are changing lives.$70,000 given globally to the Schools of Africa, Cambodia Foster Care Project, 1% Love Share Project, and more$30,000 given in local chapter support in the USOne particularly moving success story comes from a graduate of the New Hope Technical Institute who offered her appreciation to our efforts: "I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to WFWP for giving girls like us, who had no opportunities to learn and develop as professionals, a chance."These initiatives exemplify the heart of WFWP's mission: to bring a mother's touch to the world through hope and empowerment to communities both near and far.
